New Model Release

The new year is nearly here and BASE is pleased to release the latest creations from DH, Muzza and Simon. All models are available in our BASE retail outlets, BASE stockist and custom orders.

mick-fanning-summer-swivel-dhd
DH and Mick have finetuned the Swivel, Mick's small wave fun-board. This year they went a little shorter, wider and thicker, gearing it up for those small mushy days when you still want to throw the board around. The shorter board reduces the turning arc for powerful turns on smaller waves, while the extra foam makes it an easy paddle in and gets the board moving. Perfect for small punchy waves. More

dhd-steph-gilmore-cherry-bomb
The Cherry Bomb is a spin-off from Steph riding the Bobby Monster over in America. Steph had so much fun riding the Monster as a quad and suggested DH do a similar model more suited for girls that just want to have fun. It has plenty of foam, with a performance rocker and plan shape with forgiving rails. Making it a great board for girls that are just starting to get the hang of surfing or girls that are surfing well and want a fun board for fun waves. It can be ridden as a quad or a thruster.More

dhd-jelly-quad
Jelly-Quad The evolution of the Jelly-Fish and Bat-Quad. DH has combined and tweaked two of his models taking the strengths of each and eliminating their weaknesses. A fast and loose quad fin that maintains an all round performance for smaller and larger days. More

Simon-Anderson-810
A blend of the 80's and today, this model is going to be a classic. Simon has taken an 80's plan shape and foam distribution and blended it with a modern rocker and bottom. An easy paddler that can turn tight in the pocket and fly down the line. Can be ridden as an all round performer or as a bit of a variation to the norm in the quiver. More

Simon-Anderson-kb
Short and wide the KB is the freshest looking Simon board for this Summer. With an ultra wide rounded square and a Mollusc style plan shape this pocket rocket will have you flying down the line. Great slide control and easy rail to rail transition, the KB will change the way you look at small surf. More

Simon-Anderson-RPR
The RPR is the modern day twinny, a thruster set-up with the looseness and slide of a twinny. A good blend of speed and controlled slide, the RPR is a performance fish that will allow you to open up your turns and whip it around in the pocket at ease. More

Murray-Bourton0Troy-Brooks-MK2
Since retiring from the tour Troy Brooks has embraced the quad fin and he and Muzz have been evolving the ultimate in performance quads. The MK2 is a step down board from the the 'Brooko Round Tail Quad'. Shorter wider and a little thicker, this is the board Brooko rides in 90% of his 0-4ft surfs. A fast and loose board with a smaller turning arc than the original 'Brooko RTQ', easy to whip around in the smaller waves and race down the line. Check out the MK2 for the ultimate performance quad blast. More
