A great sequence of some recent R&D at Sydney's Northern beaches. It is nearly three decades on since Simon introduced the Thruster to the world and he still knows how to draw the right line.
The sequence pictured here is of Simon testing a new board design in a recent spurt of good swell that hit the northern beaches of Sydney.
Rumor has it, the board he is testing is a further development of the successful Mollusc model. A refined Mollusc design, that is more directed at performance surfing. Keep your eyes peeled, there may be a new Simon model in the lineup soon.
