SANDING

The sanding technique employed by BASE has taken many years to develop and we have succeeded with a finish which is called a pure sanded finish. The Pure Sanded finish is often mistaken for a polish finish which it is not. Our system of sanding has been refined to be efficient and fast with minimal amount of papers used with maximum results.

For BASE to achieve this finish it is the previous processes laid by the laminators and fill-coaters which form the foundation for sanders. Part of BASE’s success has been our ability to retain very experienced sanders who are continually trying to raise the standard of the finish and are willing to take on any challenge that is given to them. The BASE sanders are proficient in handling any designs that the shapers give them such as channels, fixed fins, hulls and a full range of different swallow tails to name a few.

We are constantly trying new products and different techniques to try improve our finish which radiates strength, quality and prestige.
