THE BIG BOY QUAD
The Big Boy Quad is simply a blown up of the standard quads and should have been available earlier as the guys who are big enough to ride these designs are the ones that need them the most.
It seems that bigger guys make the mistake of employing extra length to paddle onto waves but find themselves wanting once they get to their feet coz length in small waves kills all opportunities for quick short arc surfing particularly with thruster set ups.
As I have said before keeping short and add area forward and minimize rocker under the chest and you will have a paddler, add four fins and you have a performer.
At this point I have put in 3 different lengths:
1. 6'6 x 20 x 2' 1/2
2. 6'8 x 20' ½ x 2' 5/8
3. 6'10 x 21 x 2' 3/4
