Gerr Frothing

I have been designing a few boards for Brad Gerlach of late in an attempt at lifting my label in the States. The guy is an old buddy from way back but someone that I have never really got into making boards for coz in those days he had big paying sponsors all over him like a rash. Brad for his age is still super fit and his surfing particular in good powerful waves is still cutting edge not to mention the monster wave shit that he and Snips are into.

Recently he did a Trip to the Caroline Islands with Kong and a bunch of hot young chargers, such as Ryan Hipwood and Asher Pacey, so he had me do a couple of reef powered 6'2 swallow tails for the trip. According to Swilly who was the photographer Gerr absolutely shralped on the 6'2 at P Pass where they sat for 7 days straight and got shacked every day in flawless barrels.

No doubt we will see images of the trip in due course but thanks to Swilly he offered up a couple so I could put this short story together. Gerr also wants a few back ups for future trips.

Fricken P Pass was all-time. Your board worked incredible (swallow tail). I hope I get some shots in tracks on it.? Swilly was the photog. I definitely want another one of those.

"Hey bud how are you?

I’m good. I’m in Hawaii. I just wanted to let you know that the 6’2 swallow tail worked outstanding at Macca’s. I rode an Al Merrick in the morning then took your board out in afternoon and went absolutely nuts on it. I’m so stoked on it Muz.

It has such good drive and is really responsive. I’m taking it with me to P.pass in Micronesia. I got a shot on surfline with the round pin. I like that board too.

You probably know that Ry has a pretty big interview in the latest Surfer mag. He's got a couple of really good shots. That guy rips.

Ok I want to order a couple of more boards.
