THE FUN FISH SERIES
After constant experimentation and trial, Murray Bourton
has successfully designed the following 3 models in the "Fun
Fish Series". As Murray continues to push the creative
envelope this series will continue to evolve, and therefore
there will be more cheeky little fish in due course.

Model: Retro Fish |
This little fish is more from the twin-fin family as it is primarily a twinzza, only the little fin is moved right up to give a
slightly “drivier” feel. It has basically the same bottom and rail contours as its brothers, but features a fluted wing for a little extra punch. more

Model: Bat Fish |
The Batfish is the board that started the new quad revolution. The ‘07 Batfish sports a deep concave that runs into a flat section then to a deepening vee out of the tail. Comes with either a quad or five-fin plug setup. more

Model: Moon Fish |
The Moon Fish has had a face lift. The ‘07 version still has the same bite and squirt as last year, but this year Muzz has refined the outline and re-configured the fin arrangement. The Moon Fish now features a “mini quad”. New vector twinzer templates from Future Fins gives this board the right mix of power and looseness that you need this summer. more |

Model: The Mini- Mini |
The Mini-Mini is
aimed at a few niche markets from young girls, to
guys who want an alternative to a fish design, or
bigger guys who just want a shorter board. Due to
the width and forward flatness
this could be ridden by a 90 kg surfer and also
due to the 2 ¼ thinness it could also be
managed by somebody around 65 kgs. more |

Model: Trippun Fish |
| I have positioned this ridge about 2 ½ inches in from the plan shape. The vee in the tail and concave through the centre have been eased back slightly in order to blend rail lines more comfortably but are still radical by most standards. The plan shape is a bit more tapered and streamlined almost bullet like which has given it more drive.
Adding to that quest for drive I have turned it into a quad. In fact with this vee you can use even bigger quads. If given some elbow room of a long wall the speed you can pump these up to is mind blowing. more |

Model: The Big Bat |
| The Big Bat is another one of Murray’s 4-fin applications; this one in particular is aimed at those that need both a paddler and a performer. The actual board shape is modelled off the great success of the HPR. The combination of the diamond bat tail and the “clustered” quad setup has resulted in a breakthrough in both speed and looseness. more |
