2009 Swivel
Mick wanted a fun board to play around on when he wasn’t competing on the tour. The result was the Swivel. This wide nose hybrid is all about having fun. Ride it 3-4 inches shorter and ¾ - 1 inch wider than your normal short board. Ride it as a thruster or twinny, either way it’s going to be one of the best fishes you have ever owned.
2010 Summer Swivel
I have made a few changes to the 2010 Swivel. There is a touch less rocker and more thickness throughout. This extra volume allows Mick to ride a smaller board in smaller waves and still have the carry and speed to throw the board around in small waves.
What's The Difference?
Being a little shorter, thicker and with a flatter rocker, the 2010 Summer Swivel will perform better in smaller, flatter and mushy waves then the 2009 Swivel. With more lift in the rocker and not as thick and stubby the 2009 Swivel is slightly more performance driven. Perfect for small punchy little Summer waves with a bit of shape.
Both models have the same plan shape, concaves and fin placement. Both models are perfect for small wave conditions.
