The IP is basically an Interceptor but with a swallow tail and deeper single concave with a little vee out the tail. You surf this board 2” shorter than your regular performance thruster and ¼ - ½” wider with the same to a 1/16” thicker. The swallow gives the board a little more bite and hold on the face. This model will surf in slightly bigger surf than you would expect the interceptor to. In other words 1- 6’ beach breaks a good option for the Sydney area, Sunshine Coast or Perth etc
