I am a 6'1" 180 lbs 25 years old male. Perfect board for my surfing style in small to medium beach break or soft points. Low entry rocker allows for quick paddle speed and easy wave catching. I have surfed the TPF3 in over head and a half beach break surf with success, I have even snuck into a few tight barrels with it. If you're surfing anything overhead plus, you may want to step up to something with a little more rocker like the IP or Interceptor with similar dimensions. Overall great board for small to medium(2ft-6ft) waves ground or windswell.

I have riden this board for the last couple of years in everything from 1 foot mush in local contests to overhead grinders and have been very impressed. I am a big guy (6'4" and 90kg) but this board floats me, catches waves easily, and is fast and responsive on the face. In over 40 year of surfing this is one of the best boards I have ever had. Simon's boards are well made and always seem to 'work'. I can't get enough of them - I also have a big S for serious surf and just ordered a mollusc for dribblers.

I love it, it went sick in everything around the goldie, and even worked good in indo, perfect all round board. Heaps of speed, and turns really good. Easy as to catch waves on, but still really good performance.

As the surf industry experiences a flood of new and revisited design concepts, its not uncommon to witness the work horse, or the 'old favourite' easily forgotten and placed towards the backend of any growing quiver or surf shop board rack. It's here where the TPF3 unjustifiably sits, bordering on the possibility of becoming ones reserve small wave stick, behind the likes of quad fin setups and endless variances in hybrid designs. Fortunately for the appreciative, the TPF3 remains a gem and should remain in this light. Its impressive versatility creates a board that accommodates the needs for a varying array of surfers. Ridden longer, the TPF3 can facilitate an intermediate surfers needs, as they take the step up from a mini mal or similar. At the other end of the scale, ridden as advertised creates a wave destroying power house, performing in the waves that most of us mere mortal surfers ride on a daily basis. The mixture of performance and exceptional paddling ability certainly doesn't go unnoticed. Many of the competition on offer can learn from the detailed refinements and balance developed in this board. Without exploring performance attributes of the flatter rocker and the ins-and-outs of rail to rail transition achievements, (both of which I'm sure you are fully aware of), it should be stated that the TPF3's performance deserves a mantel position in ones quiver, and it would please me to witness a resurgence in this stellar design.

terrific board for those smaller summer conditions. Easy to paddle on to waves with and great for a larger surfer.

A nice little board for small waves. Gets a fair bit of speed sometimes. Which you can't really ever get enough of. It turned what would have been an otherwise disapointing trip to the Sunny Coast into a pretty fun one. I don't have to jump around like an idiot all the time to keep moving, which is also a massive bonus. Thanks,
